Go N Grow: Gardens. Made. Simple.
As seen on NBC 5 and CBS 11!
Go N Grow Garden Kits have been featured on major Texas news outlets for their simplicity, value, and success—because they really work, even for first-time gardeners!
If you’ve ever dreamed of a thriving, beautiful garden but don’t know where to start (or just don’t have time to fuss over plants), we’ve got your solution: Go N Grow Gardens-in-a-box.
These pre-designed, foolproof gardens-in-a-box take all the guesswork out of gardening—no overthinking, no struggling to figure out what thrives in Texas, and no driving all over the place searching for those hard-to-find plants. Just unbox, plant using your choice of the plant-by- number designs, and enjoy season after season.
Two Gardens, Both Texas Tough
We’ve made it simple: choose from two professionally designed garden kits based on your sunlight conditions, each curated for success in the challenging (to say the least) Texas soils and climate—whether you live in the DFW Metroplex, Round Rock, or College Station.
If you want a low-maintenance, pollinator-friendly, drought-hardy garden that basically takes care of itself, this is for you. Every plant in this kit is native to Texas and perfectly adapted to survive (and thrive) in our tough conditions. Hard-to-find natives like Rattlesnake Master, Gregg’s Mistflower, Green Milkweed, and Pitcher Sage are included—and EVERY plant is a pollinator favorite!
Not all gardens bask in full sun—and not all plants want to. Designed specifically for low-light or dappled shade, this collection includes native plants like White American Beautyberry, Pink Turk’s-cap, Cedar Sage, Inland Sea Oats, and Heartleaf Skullcap that brighten even the shadiest corners of your yard with color, texture, and habitat value.
Each kit covers 125 square feet and comes with everything you need to plant with confidence!

What Gardeners Are Saying
“We planted the pollinator box a couple of falls ago and it has done beautifully!! We watered to get them established, but after that they pretty much take care of themselves. AND we have bumblebees galore!!”
— Rachael Miller

Frequently Asked Questions
How big is each Go N Grow garden kit?
Each kit includes 24 starter plants and is designed to cover approximately 125 square feet. It also includes three different layout options to match your space and style. Or you can wing it and create a design that meets your needs!
When and where do I pick up my kit?
Pickup is Saturday, September 27, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. At checkout, you’ll select your preferred pickup location from one of the following cities:
Allen • Arlington • College Station • Fort Worth • Mansfield • Pilot Point • Round Rock • Southlake
Can I order more than one kit?
Absolutely! Many gardeners order both the Pollinator and Shade gardens—or multiples of the same kit for larger spaces. In fact, the gardens are designed to be used as “matrix” plantings, repeated as best fits your space!
Can I plant my kit later if I can’t install it right away?
Yes. While planting shortly after pickup is ideal, you can keep your plants healthy for a few days by storing them in a cool, shaded area and watering them regularly (1-2 times a day based on temperature and wind) until you’re ready to plant.
Are these plants native to Texas?
Yes! Both the Pollinator Garden and the Shade Garden is made entirely of Texas native plants– species specifically chosen to thrive year after year in landscapes across DFW and Central Texas.
Do I need to be an experienced gardener to succeed with this kit?
Not at all. These kits are designed for all experience levels—from beginners to seasoned green thumbs. In fact, we ONLY include plants that beginners can have success with despite their skill level. With a step-by-step planting guide, plant-by-number diagrams, and the detailed fact sheet we make it truly simple.
What if I forget to pick up my plants?
Unfortunately, we are unable to offer refunds or rainchecks. Each satellite location is run by city-staff volunteers who are donating their Saturdays to help grow gardens for people and pollinators. If you are unable to pick up, some folks choose to trade plants to a friend or loved one to pick up for them. Any unclaimed kits will be donated to a local community garden to ensure the plants go to good use.
Where can I see what’s included in each box?
Plant lists and detailed fact sheets are provided HERE.
I can’t find the designs!
The 3 plant-by-number design layouts are provided HERE.
What about winter? Will my small plants die?
Each of these Texas native plants evolved in our harsh and unpredictable climate and are extremely cold hardy– when planting instructions are followed carefully.
What if I didn’t get an email confirmation?
Sometimes confirmation emails get automatically moved to junk, spam or other folders. Other times typos in email entry sections prevent sending to the correct address. But don’t worry! Just email contact@rootedin.com or Text: 972.954.8580 and we’ll make sure to get you squared away.
