25% OFF These Stunning, Tough-as-Texas Vines

From Pollinator Magnets to Porch Showstoppers:

These Vines Are Built for Beautyโ€”and Built for Texas

In North Texas, a good vine needs more than just charmโ€”it needs grit. Our soils run heavy, our summers run hot, and if a plant canโ€™t take the heat (or the drought, or the cold), itโ€™s best left off the trellis.

Yet, well-adapted vines can be vertical problem-solvers. They soften fences, shade porches, attract pollinators, and bloom in spectacular fashion. With selections like these, you donโ€™t have to compromise toughness for beauty.

This Weekend Only: Take 25% Off All Vines!

Whether you’re looking for color, coverage, or pollinator power, we’ll help you pick the perfect one to elevate your gardenโ€”literally! ๐Ÿ˜‰

Our Favorite Texas-Tough Climbers

Carolina Jessamine (Gelsemium sempervirens)

Evergreen | Deer resistant | Full sun to part shade
A fast-growing native with glossy green foliage and a waterfall of sweet-smelling golden yellow blooms in early spring. Fragrant, floriferous, and gracefulโ€”this is your Southern porch in a vine.

Coral Honeysuckle (Lonicera sempervirens) & Yellow Form

Semi-evergreen | Full sun to part shade | Pollinator powerhouse
A non-invasive native honeysuckle with coral-red or buttery yellow trumpet blooms beloved by hummingbirds. Blooms from spring through summer. Easygoing, well-mannered, and tolerant of heavy clay soils.

Crossvine โ€˜Tangerine Beautyโ€™ (Bignonia capreolata)

Semi-evergreen | Full sun to part shade | Heat and cold hardy
One of the most spectacular native vines available. Flame-colored flowers cover the plant in spring to early summer and reappear in fall. Fast to establish and nearly carefree once rooted. Can even climb brick and concrete.

Texas Wisteria & โ€˜Amethyst Fallsโ€™

Deciduous | Full sun to part shade | Heat and cold hardy
Finallyโ€”a wisteria that wonโ€™t take over the neighborhood!

  • Texas Wisteria (Wisteria frutescens): A native, reblooming option with elegant purple blooms.

  • โ€˜Amethyst Fallsโ€™: A refined cultivar with lavender blossoms and compact growth. Ideal for pergolas and trellises in smaller spaces.

Coral Bean (Erythrina herbacea)

Deciduous | Full sun to part shade | Drought tolerant once established
Though more shrubby than vining, Coral Bean adds vertical drama with brilliant red spires that hummingbirds canโ€™t resist. Unique, sculptural seed pods bring seasonal interest in fall.

Mexican Flamevine (Senecio confusus)

Tender perennial (reseeding) | Full sun | Best in containers or protected microclimates
Tropical flair meets pollinator magnet. Bright orange daisy-like flowers bloom nonstop in warm weather. Not reliably hardy below 25ยฐFโ€”best treated as an annual or overwintered in pots.
