Fig Day at Rooted In brings together local fig growers, collectors, propagators, and experts for a day of rare cultivars, practical education, local vendors, educational booths, and three presentations from experienced Texas growers.

Come to learn, shop, ask questions, compare cultivars, meet other fig enthusiasts, or simply discover why figs are such a great fruit for North Texas gardens.

This is not your typical garden-center fig selection.

Our local small-business growers and vendors are planning to bring more than 130 different fig cultivars, ranging from proven favorites to rare and hard-to-find selections prized by collectors for exceptional flavor, unusual fruit, and unique characteristics.

Expect cultivars including Black Madeira KK, Craven’s Craving, Figo Preto, Italian 258, Smith, White Madeira #1, Violette de Solliès, Coll de Dama selections, LSU selections, and many more.
