Natural and thoughtfully maintained landscapes are encouraged. Whether it's full of native plants, pollinator flowers, shade trees, wildflowers, or simply exceptional curb appeal, we'd love to see it recognized.

Did you know herbs c

Did you know herbs can do far more than flavor your favorite recipes?

Join Wendy Hudman & Michelle Businger at 10:45–11:20 AM during Herb Day as they explore how herbs can:

🌱 Support neighboring plants
🐝 Attract beneficial insects
🦋 Support pollinators—and people
You'll discover practical ways to use herbs throughout your landscape to create healthier gardens while adding beauty, biodiversity, and flavor.

And that's just one of three free mini-classes happening throughout Herb Day!

🌿 FREE Admission — No Registration Required

Spend the day exploring:

🪴 Herb, Seed & Plant Swap (bring potted herbs, herb cuttings, fresh or dried herbs, or seeds to swap—but bringing something isn't required)

🌱 Ask-the-Expert educational booths

🛍️ Local vendors featuring: • Rare herbs like comfrey and moringa • Traditional culinary herbs • South Asian herbs, vegetables, flowers, and other useful plants • Permaculture and regenerative gardening plants • Fresh & dried herbs • Herbal teas, salves, oils, and other handcrafted botanical products • Bokashi composting products and soil-building amendments

🎨 Paint-your-own herb garden markers for kids and gardeners of all ages

Whether you're growing herbs in containers, vegetable gardens, food forests, or ornamental landscapes, you'll leave with new ideas and plenty of inspiration.

📅 Saturday, June 27 🕤 9:30 AM–2:30 PM 📍 Rooted In • 12804 Pelzel Rd. Pilot Point, Texas
