Throughout the day\, native plant experts and representatives from local native plant organizations will be sharing short talks\, answering questions\, and offering guidance on how to use native plants to build resilient\, low-maintenance landscapes that support wildlife and conserve water. \n \nExpect: \n\n\nEducational talks from local native plant experts and organizations \n\n\nGuidance on selecting natives for North Texas soils and climate \n\n\nInformation on pollinator habitat\, water-wise landscaping\, and restoration \n\n\nA curated selection of harder-to-find Texas native plants and native seeds available for purchase \n\n\nThis is a great opportunity to ask questions\, deepen your understanding of native plants\, and discover species you don’t often see at big-box stores. \n\nA few notes:\n\n\nThe event is completely free and drop-in friendly. \n\n\nSpeakers and organizations will be available throughout the day; a loose schedule will be shared closer to the event. \n\n\nPlants and seeds available will focus on Texas natives and regionally appropriate species. \n\n\n📅 More details and a speaker lineup are coming soon — for now\, save the date and plan to spend the day learning from the people working on the ground to protect and restore Texas landscapes.
