Whether you’re an experienced gardener or just getting started\, Herb Day is designed to be a fun\, relaxed\, come-and-go event for anyone interested in growing and using herbs in North Texas! \nSaturday\, June 27\, 2026\n9:30 AM – 2:30 PM\n  \n \nThis FREE community event will feature: \nLEARN \n\nMini-classes from herb experts and master gardeners\nAsk-the-Expert educational booths\nPractical tips for growing and using herbs in North Texas\n\nEXPLORE \n\nRare\, unusual\, and hard-to-find herbs\nTraditional culinary herbs\, South Asian herbs\, vegetables\, flowers\, and other useful plants\nPlants commonly used in permaculture and regenerative gardening\nWell-adapted herbs and edible plants for North Texas gardens\n\nSHOP LOCAL \n\nFeatured herb and garden vendors\nFresh and dried herbs (including comfrey and other hard-to-find specialty herbs!)\nHerbal teas\, salves\, oils\, and other handcrafted botanical products\nBokashi composting products and soil-building amendments\n\nCONNECT \n\nHerb seed and plant swap\nPaint-your-own herb garden marker activity\nOpportunities to meet fellow gardeners\, growers\, and plant enthusiasts\n\n\nFeatured Vendors\nGood Tilth Farm\nFeaturing fresh and dried herbs\, comfrey plants\, herbal teas\, Bokashi products\, soil-building amendments\, and other offerings focused on healthy soil and productive gardens. \nBackyard Grower\nSpecializing in South Asian herbs\, vegetables\, flowers\, and other useful plants that are difficult to find through traditional retail sources. \nRene Myers\nOffering specialty herb plants\, herbal teas\, dried herbs\, salves\, oils\, and other handcrafted botanical products. \n\n🌿 Herb Seed & Plant Swap\nThe Herb Swap opens at 9:15 AM. \nBring healthy herb plants\, rooted cuttings\, divisions\, seeds\, or labeled seed packets to share with fellow gardeners! \nPlease: \n\nBring only healthy\, pest-free plant material\nAvoid invasive or potentially invasive species\nLabel plants and seeds to the best of your ability\nInclude the common and/or botanical name when possible\n\nDon’t have anything to bring? That’s okay! Participation is free\, and sharing is encouraged but not required. Explore how herbs can bring color\, texture\, fragrance\, and seasonal interest to beds\, borders\, containers\, and mixed plantings.
